Category: Considerate Theory – Definition

Considerate Theory is a Philosophy of Social interaction by which an individuals or a group together makes it a main goal to consider all of the points of view of those who might be affected by a perspective, action, or policy.  These points of view include both full consideration of the factual logical perspectives and full consideration of how the perspective action or policy might make another person or group feel emotionally.

For example, if the rioting of an oppressed people group destroys the business buildings of a struggling small businesses owner, then while that may have been fair to one group, it may not have been considerate of another group.

Considerate Theory, by definition, admonishes people to consider other peoples and groups more highly than one’s own person or group
